Dovestone Reservoir
This is a wide oil painting of a scene I photographed at Dovestone reservoir in the peak district. Its one of our favourite places to walk.

Cleethorpes Beach
This is a small acrylic painting of St Antony’s bank near Cleethorpes. It’s the town where I grew up and this space is known for people flying kites.

Cleethorpes Beach Sunrise
Back in 2010 i went on a dawn walk along the beach at 4am and took a lot of photos along the way. This is an oil painting of one of those scenes.
Haile Sand Fort Storm
In the Humber estuary by Cleethorpes beach you can see 2 sand forts that were built to keep out German U boats during the war. This is an acrylic painting of one of them during a storm.

Dovestone mist
Dovestone reservoir is one of my favourite places and this acrylic painting was based on an oil sketch i attempted en plein air. Unfortunately it was rainy and misty and i was unable to complete the picture but i painted this when i returned home.
